TPMT Engages MP Atty. Omar Yasser C. Sema during 57th Monitoring Mission

As part of its 57th Monitoring Mission in the Philippines, the Third Party Monitoring Team (TPMT) met with Member of Parliament Atty. Omar Yasser C. Sema to discuss recent developments in the Bangsamoro peace process.

The engagement focused on the current state of the political transition, key legislative developments, and preparations for the 2026 Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections.

The TPMT also sought insights on promoting inclusive participation and ensuring a peaceful and credible electoral environment in the region.The meeting forms part of TPMT’s continuing mandate to monitor, review, and assess the implementation of signed agreements under the GPH–MILF peace process, while engaging key stakeholders across the Bangsamoro.
